When building the new port in Belfalas, we discovered the ruins of an ancient palace. Some rooms was surprisingly well preserved, among them what seemed to be a study or writing-room, where we found an amazing amount of old books, scrolls and letters. The following is by far the most mysterious of these, since ite contains but a few names, and reveals facts hithertho unknown of the War of the Ring.
