Confession

High above the gateway, silver trumpets welcomed the brothers home once more.

‘Do you remember my trumpet, Brom?’

‘How could I ever forget?’

You had the Horn of Gondor to grow up to. It was only fair that I had something as well.’

‘But I didn’t go around blasting on the Horn non-stop.’

‘I loved that trumpet, it was my greatest joy. Until you sat on it of course.’

‘Someone had to do something.’

What? What did you say?’

‘Well, how can I put this? Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly an accident…’

Boromir!

‘Don’t hit me! Don’t hit me!’
