Wouldn’t it be something lovely not to have to worry each time he departs the White City? To be absolutely certain that he will come back safe and victorious. He always does. Yet one’s heart can only hold out so long. One can only wonder with morbid dread about the day that he comes home still and pale and no longer breathing. Happily, he came back safe to me today. Death has not claimed him… yet.

Watercolours and acrylics on paper. This is not what customer got. I made some changes after this shot, but I loved this version much more in spite of Boro’s right hand. BTW, the final version can be seen here (foul photo in the dark).

Again it’s the brothers of Gondor, this time quite a bit younger though. And awake :). My rough guess is that Boromir is something like 24 on the picture which makes Faramir about 18 then.
