Title: The Dream
Author: colonelduckie
Rating: PG
Pairing(s): Faramir
A/N: So this is my interpretation of what Faramir was dreaming when he was hurt. I own nothing all goes to J.R.R. Tolkien. Book verse, some quotes from the books. Just so you know the chapters are The Siege of Gondor and The Pryer of Denethor.

My interpretation of Faramir’s dream between when he injured and when Aragon heals him.

The Dream.

Faramir felt the arrow go into his shoulder, poisonous, just what he thought. Everything stared blur around him. “Captin Fara—” who voices was that? Faramir though dully but it no longer mattered, the speaker died and he was on his way to see his mother and brother. “that depends on the manor of your return.” His father’s works were still ringing in his head the world around him went silent he could no long hear anything and his vision was becoming grey and white and blurring more that it was just a moment before. He sighed. His body went limp. All went to black.

He felt a wind blow past him… its not a windy day… that dull thought passed threw Faramir’s mind “Faramir!” the voice sounded familiar. But who did it belong to? I know this. Who is this!? Faramir was stressing him self thing of the voice. “Little brother!” Boromir! It was Boromir! He tried to call to him but to no avail. “Faramir.” this voice was sweat, a women, his mother! They came to take him home. A way from the evil that plagued Gondor and all of Middle Earth. It was not long before he could feel his body being lifted and he heard was starting to hear dull sounds around. He started to wonder weather they voiced were in his past or present.

“Faramir!” the voice was spoked in a sharp whisper. He knew the speaker. His Uncle Prince Imrahil. He felt a hand on his. Uncle! He could not tell if his uncle could hear him or not, not could he see. Is my father here? What would he think of this return? Would he accept this return? And now he was starting to feel his body burning and in pain. Why am I just feeling this now…” His mind started fading.

…pryer…

…burn…

…wood…

Nothing was making sense. His ears were telling him it was his father. Father is here? With me? I pleased him! He became much warmer than he was before and now coved is a liquid he could not think of.

…healing…

…threshold…

…death…

Mithrandir? Faramir’s senses were slowly coming back. He knew the works that were spoken were not on his head, they were on the outside.

Faramir heard his name being called, he did not know the speaker. He stirred and opened his eyes.

“My lord, you called me. I come. What does the king command?”

A/N: so this is longer than I thought it would be. I intended it to be a drabble, but it is 408 words long so no go with the drabble :p well I hoped you liked it.

Oh, an interesting interpretation, Colonelduckie. It’s good that it’s not drabble.
Keep writing. Thank you!
