Chapter 2

Aragorn was the most surprised one after the gentle elf had punched him just as hard as any other warrior he’d met on the field.

Arwen suddenly threw herself down at him and grabbed him to look him in the eyes.

“Is this why! I see you!” She cried and sudden shock and distress filled the gracefull creature.

Faramir now witnessed his queen captivate his king in some kind of trance where she spoke and chanted elvish. Aragorn’s eyes changed and he became paler.

Tears fell from the king’s eyes and he looked like a lost man who had lost everything. “Arwen…” he whispered, and his voice had changed into the voice Faramir had heard him speak the first time they met.

After the King had seemed to come back to life the elf embraced him and sobbed happily.

She looked at Faramir as he stepped forward ready to ask what had just went on before him, she said.

“It is over. Aragorn is now Elessar again.” She was so happy.

The King didn’t look happy at all. He was blank in his eyes and he seemed like a man ready to die from hunger. But his color came back and he looked at the standing man.

“Faramir…” He whispered with longing and sorrow.

Faramir’s eyes searched Aragorn’s face and when grey eyes met brighter grey’s. Aragorn’s tears fell fast and he broke down. “Please forgive me. I couldn’t fight him.”

Faramir turned to Arwen for answers.

What had happened to the King became only known to the three of them and of course the king’s foster father. Never again was Elessar to be controlled by darker forces of magic.

Elessar couldn’t remember any of his actions, but kept the bad feelings of knowing he had done bad things and lived in fear, though learning bit by bit what destruction he had done in Gondor, he regained his security and selfesteem.
What he had done to his steward however, remained to be told and Faramir made himself ready in front of the mirror.

He had managed to help his king deal with one thing at a time not have it all in one shot, and by every discomforting twitch in the King’s face, Faramir got more and more nervous until his turn to tell closed in.

Things had settled and Faramir refused to tell, but Arwen made him and she was also to attend this meeting of truth.

He he, good for Arwen punching Aragorn, and good for Faramir for standing up for himself and being unwilling to endure the abuse any longer.

Yeah :)

I must admit I don’t have the whole story clear ahead of me, but I know how it’s gonna end. I just need time and words to make it happen ;)

Feel free to comment more and give advice and feedback.

Thank you!
