Chapter 19

A child ran, ran for his life, his lungs were burning, his legs were tired, but on he went in a world of greys and greens. Flashing by trees, jumping over rocks, must go faster, the beast comes. The enormous hairy thing that was in pursuit was drawing near, baring its teeth and growling its upcoming victory as it was gaining on the child. It was only yards away, feet, inches. The child could feel its warm breath on his neck.

A brutal shove and the beast landed on the child, smothering him with its weight, the child cried out, and took hold of anything to grab on to, trying to get away. And to his surprise, he did. He stood, panting, with eyes wide, as he stared at the motionless beast, several arrows sticking out of its back and gruesome head.

A soft noise made him turn, to see a figure standing in silence. The child stood, in awe of the ancient aura that emanated from this regal presence. Something sent by the gods themselves. He asked: “Are you an Angel?”

The being smiled and said, in the most beautiful voice the child had ever heard: “No, little one, I am an Elf, but you may call me Haldir.” An Elf, the child didn’t know what that was, but he thought he had never seen anything so magical in his life. He took a few steps closer to this magnificent being, but then the vision turned around, to look over his shoulder before suddenly running off.

The child shouted after him; “Please don’t go!” But the Elf was long gone, if not for the arrows, it would have been as if he had never been there.

“I don’t understand.”

The boy was struck so hard he tasted blood.

“There is nothing to understand, you take it in your mouth and suck it.”

“But I don’t want to, it tastes funny!”

Cruel laughter filled the air; “You have nothing to want, boy… You are mine…”

A child ran, ran for his life.

“You know, don’t you? You know what I do to boys, you know what I will do to you. Tell me boy, tell me what I am going to do to you.”

“You’ll hurt me, master.”

Must go faster, the beast comes.

The collar moves down and he feels it being fastened around his neck.

Forever, this has been going on forever and it will never stop, he lifted his head, his hair flipped back and was caught and twisted between strong fingers. He was being pressed down again, his cheek on the mattress, being rubbed against it with every movement. Too much, his wrists hurt from the ropes, the hard flesh inside him made him see stars on every in and outwards stroke, more, oh please dear Gods more, but never enough and make it stop, please, go on, stop, don’t, more, till all he can think was please.

Please

The child could feel its warm breath on his neck.

“You! You killed him! Murderer! Don’t touch me, don’t ever touch me again! You killed him!”

He screamed and grabbed master Lexius’s hand with the knife in it and with all that he is pushed.

The world before his eyes turned crimson and he will never remember what happened after that.

A brutal shove and the beast landed on the child, smothering him with its weight

“…don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me, don’t touch me…”

A figure standing in silence.

I will spend my lifetime loving you, Faramir.

“Are you an Angel?”

“I will be your Angel, if you let me. Forever…”

“Forever?”

“Forever.”

Faramir smiles in his sleep, as his fingers unconsciously slide over Haldir’s palm and then entangle with elegant fingers. Haldir presses a gentle kiss to the back of Faramir’s head. He wonders if Faramir knows he shared in his dream. He holds the Man in his arms just a little tighter and sighs as he lets himself slip off to sleep again.

This Lexius reminds me of Lucius Malfoy. First it was the cane and gray/blonde hair. Now his name bares such simmularity that I can’t help but think of him.

This is a message for everyone who was kind enough to leave me
a comment, thank you so very much! It really means a lot to hear this
story is liked. And a litle extra note to Tara, you are right I based
Lexius on Lucius Malfoy, since Anorien for whom I write this story really
likes him. But I didn’t want to make it a crossover story so I just
kept his looks and a little of his attitude ;-)

Again, thank you all so very much!

It’s lovely and inspiring. I so so wish for a happy ending for this…one that would also give Boromir someone worthy to have and cherish him? . Awww…I am just enjoying this too much! Hugs, kisses, milk and cookies for the authors!

Heya, Autumn Verse,
I started reading this last year and it stopped after a few chapters on the archive I first found it on. I was pleased today to find it posted and finished here, and have read it all in one go. It was good enough for me to remember the title and keep looking, even though I have a bad memory. It’s the only unfinished fic that I was bothering to look up :) I loved that you could write such a hard-hitting story, and I had wondered what would happen to them. I had last seen Haldir behind bars and Lexius initiating Faramir into his perverted purposes. Thank you for finishing it. I found it moving and fascinating. All three of the characters were sympathetic, and I ended up wondering about Boromir and how he settled down afterwards. Thank you for the story.
